Wow we had three top sellers in our class, thanks to everyone for your support!  Our fundraising is going towards an upgrade to the pool and improve the outdoors area around our new building.

New Lynn Librarians

We had a visit today from the children's librarians from New Lynn library,  the library is closed at the moment for renovations which gives the librarians time to visit us.  The library will reopen on March 29th we can't wait to see the exciting new changes especially to the children's section.

Some of our amazing actors helped the librarians to act out a story, look carefully for our awesome expressions as we acted being upset crayons.

The librarians taught us a song to encourage us to join up to the library,

Measuring Our Classroom

We've been learning how to use non-standard units, we were challenged to measure the length of our classroom.

Each group made a different choice of object as their non standard unit.  Which one was the easiest?

One of our superstars in room 22 brought in his special tiger too, this tiger has a heart of his own, we thought that was so cool and fitted in well with the LifePods and their message to keep little hearts beating.

An amazing reader,

Yesterday at the library we had a special little girl reading to us about Mt Vesuvius and the disaster at Pompeii.

She was very interested in Reading to the class about it because her uncle had been there.

Fantastic - we loved your clear voice and knowledge about the volcano.

She finished reading it when she got back to class. Great job!!!
